BIGHoobersAd Hoober Feeds has partnered with Bovine Innovations Group (B.I.G.) to offer a product line that is formulated to fulfill all the nutritional requirements of calves in a way that maximizes growth potential. B.I.G. takes a unique approach to calf nutrition by utilizing a special blend of protein sources to enhance calf growth. The ultimate goal of this program is to produce bigger calves, shorten days-on-feed, and increase overall profit potential.

Early calf development impacts lifetime milk production, which means the success of the herd begins at the start of each calf’s life. If calves aren’t managed properly, they won’t be able to reach their full potential when they enter the milking herd. Nutritionally, what makes calves grow big is also what makes them healthy. The B.I.G. feeds are properly balanced in amino acids, protein, energy, and fat. Because of this, calves have stronger, healthier immune systems, as well as achieving maximum growth.

Expect to see healthier, bigger, taller, and leaner calves with more muscle tone; less treatment days, shinier hair coats, consistent growth, uniform body condition, and consistent manure from calf to calf.
